These terms govern your use of mortgagescalculators.co.uk. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is
Mortgages Calculators UK provides free information and calculation tools relating to UK mortgages and property taxes. It is an information service. It is not a mortgage broker, lender, adviser or intermediary, and it is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on this site is financial advice, a personal recommendation, a mortgage offer or an invitation to enter into any agreement. Our calculators produce estimates from figures you supply, using published formulas and rates. They cannot account for your full circumstances, and no lender is bound by anything they show.
Before acting on anything here, take advice from a qualified mortgage adviser, and confirm figures with the lender or your conveyancer.
3. Accuracy
We take accuracy seriously. Tax bands, base rate and market averages are checked against primary sources, and each page shows when its data was last verified. Even so:
- Rates and tax rules change, sometimes at short notice, and a page may not yet reflect a change.
- Calculators make stated assumptions, such as a constant interest rate across the term, which will not match reality.
- Individual lenders apply their own criteria, which differ from the market norms our tools describe.
We give no warranty that the site is accurate, complete or current. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will correct it.
4. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site, including financial loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from a decision made in reliance on a calculation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Intellectual property
The content, design, calculator logic and code on this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright.
You may read, print and share pages for personal or internal business use, and quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link to the source page.
You may not republish substantial portions of our content, copy our calculator code into another site, scrape the site systematically, or present our material as your own. For licensing, contact [email protected].
6. Acceptable use
You must not use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, or place a load on it that interferes with other users, including automated scraping at volume.
7. External links
We link to third-party sites where they are useful. We have no control over their content and accept no responsibility for it. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Advertising and affiliate links
We may display advertising or clearly-labelled affiliate links. Where an affiliate relationship exists, we disclose it. Commercial relationships never influence what a calculator outputs, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. See our privacy policy.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
